WHO: Heather & Pyramid Head.
WHAT: Round two.
WHEN: Around dusk.
WHERE: Streets, then an empty park.
RATING: R.
STATUS: Complete.
After receiving yet another ominous mental message from Pyramid Head (and she assumed she wasn't the only one), Heather strapped on Cricket's leash and led the small Sheltie out of her apartment building for a walk. The sun was setting, so she knew she didn't have much time to wander, but she didn't pay it too much attention. She wasn't quite as afraid of the monsters and vampires as others might've been, after all.
As she walked in silence, the only noticeable sound coming from the pair being the tinkling of Cricket's tags, they eventually made their way to a small park, void of anyone else. It stood to reason, seeing as how most people were already inside by now, especially small children who might have been occupying the swings or the slide. Cricket, however, wanted to walk through it to give her nose a workout by sniffing every available object and surface.
"We can't stay too long, Crick," Heather said to the dog, keeping a firm hold on the loop of her leash. "It's almost dark." That wasn't the main reason Heather wanted to hurry the walk along. There was a rather suspicious aura surrounding the park, and Heather knew better than to ignore her gut instinct when something felt dangerous.
