The tighter he held onto her throat, the more blurred and darkened Heather's vision became, until she was sure she was close to passing out. She gasped and choked, still trying to pry his fingers from around her neck. Just as soon as she was growing dizzy, she felt her body dropping until she hit the ground -- hard.
She coughed and gagged, trying to fill her lungs with the precious oxygen she'd been deprived while he was choking her, but at the same time, she scrambled to her feet. It wasn't to run, though. She wasn't going to run. This was her chance to stop Pyramid Head, and she was going to do everything she could in order to do it.
