Who: Jack Landors and Lindsey Mcdonald
What:despite his better judgment, he's going stir crazy and takes a run and patrols the city to clear his head.
When:Tuesday evening just as the sun goes down.
Where: The city
Warnings:PG?
He knew good and well where and when the vampires hid he wasn't new to the city. What he didn't realize was how fast over head the sun was setting as he left the safety of the Hyperion into the heart of the city. Still he couldn't let that keep him inside. He knew how to handle himself he was the red ranger. He figured the vampires and demons couldn't be any worse than the monsters they fought back home on a daily basis. He'd learned and dusted a few vamps himself already since he roughly settled into 2007. He could handle anything. So he'd like to think anyway. It was strange, the whole city compare to his New Tech 2025. Backwards he'd dare to say. Nothing was black and white anymore, good and bad everyone had a story and his own was now a blank slate. Jack hoped he was taking the right path. Making the right decisions. The more he thought about it the more he was in doubt so the faster he ran. The louder his heart beat and drowned out his thoughts. He hadn't planned on running himself ragged, nor did he realize how far he'd gotten from the Hyperion. It just happened.
His surroundings were getting less and less familiar and finally he slowed to a stop near an empty park he didn't recognize to catch his breath. "Great.." Rolling his eyes at his own carelessness he looked over his shoulder. "Now where am I?" He thought aloud. For the past week these little night time runs had become sort of ritual, they helped to clear his head. But he usually didn't run this far. Or without word that he was leaving, tonight it'd slipped his mind. As he watched the swings sway in the wind he almost missed home. Missed being a ranger on active call, saving people and helping the helpless. Joining up with Peter and the guys had been good for his spirits, but he still wanted to do more and wasn't sure where to start. Still wondered what more he could do for them. He was feeling restless. So much pent up energy he almost wished he had a sparring partner or criminal to stop, all this free time wasn't something he was used too. Anxious the more he stood around, not even the run was remedy enough to help his nerves this time. But everything seemed quiet, a little too quiet.
