Greetings, DDCers!
So! Cary and I were all kinds of excited about getting our first plot chat together, and we were going to set it up for the first weekend after we took the helm. That would be… this weekend. Which… is a holiday weekend. Something that we very nearly forgot in all the flurry of settling into our new modliness.
Since it is a holiday weekend, and we assume that you have plans (which I do as well, and I nearly forgot those too!) we are instead going to shoot for a plot chat the weekend following this one. We don’t have a date and time yet, because we’re still sorting out availability and such, but it did get us to thinking.
Traditionally, we’ve had plot chats on Fridays and Saturdays, late in the evening, and that has worked well for most people. However, there do seem to be some that regularly miss out on the chats. While they’re not required, they are fun and foster a good sense of community. A community that we want to be as inclusive as possible, for all of our members. So we would like to hear from our members, both those that regularly attend and those that don’t, if these time slots have been working for you. If they don’t, is there another that will? Is there a better day, a better time?
We are not by any means saying that we’ll change things around and suddenly have plot chat on Sunday afternoons at a time reserved for high tea. Things may not change at all, they may stay exactly the same. We’d just really like to have your input on this, to know if we need to move things around a bit to make this community more accessible for all of us, or if we’re all happy with the status quo. So let us know.
And speaking of the statuses… *cue dramatic music* Activity checks! *dun dun dun* They’ve not been done for a bit, so we just want to give you a reminder that they will be coming up. You won’t know when. You won’t know where. But we will get you. Mwahahahahahaha!
Okay. Maybe the power is going to my head a little bit, and I should… lay down for a nap before I hurt myself with the evil laugh. BUT, there will be activity checks soon, and we want to see all of you in the game anyway. Why would you deprive us of the joy of playing with you? Why? Do you want to make Cary cry?
