WHO: Adam and Meri
WHAT: Things are heating up in the kitchen
WHEN: Around dinner time.
WHERE: Adam's residence.

Life had never been simple for the wolf. Growing up the eldest son of an Alpha, wearing the mantle of pack enforcer, shouldering the burdens that came with the title he claimed when he killed his old man for the leadership...all of it had been a hard road to walk. Yet the Locke pack had thrived and grown stronger since Adam became the Alpha. Even when the world came to know of the supernatural world he had managed to keep his own pack well under the public radar. It didn't hurt that his private security firm already had contracts with the Defense Department, and that none of the higher ups wanted to risk exposing the fact that they had werewolves serving as mercs/private body guards either. So after the initial panic died down Adam and his pack were still standing.

The move out to the city hadn't been ideal, yet after all the stress his sisters decided that their brother/alpha needed a well earned vacation. Granted he still held the reins, but at least he allowed himself to be talked into taking some time off...in the name of opening up another branch of the pack's firm out here. What should have been a simple downtime, filled with golfing and relaxing, became something more though when the wolf ran into the coyotes. Taking them under his protection hadn't been planned, nor had he ever intended to fall for the red head either. Yet after being alive for nearly ninety years Adam knew that life still held a fair share of surprises. Hell Meri's scent still drove the usually stoic wolf wild, and when he came home to find her cooking for him his heart started hammering away. All that self control barely held, but the wolf managed to keep himself in check as he stepped into the kitchen, though that faint glow of gold in his eyes could be seen.

"Smells delicious..." Oh the food did smell divine and the Alpha's stomach rumbled so slightly, yet as he stepped closer to her it wasn't clear if he meant the meal...or her. A single hand rested on the small of Meri's back as he stood behind her, and without saying another thing his warm breath was felt upon her neck as Adam leaned down to lightly nip at her neck.

A light sheen of sweat stuck to Adam's skin and brow as his body reveled in the exquisiteness of their first coupling. Even as the wolf's mind was washed over with bliss the feel of his shirt clinging to his body drew minor annoyance. Without thinking a single hand of his tore the fabric free, finally allowing the Alpha to breathe a tad easier. Well as easy as he possibly could amid the rush of overwhelming ecstasy.

Oh he longed to be free from the confine of his jeans and boots too, but such concerns paled in comparison to how amazing it felt to at last succumb to the orgasm that had been building so rapidly. Buried deep inside her silky folds the wolf's seed spilled forth at last, and as his golden hued eyes rolled back in his head Adam's hand moved to grip the counter for balance.

Raw power had the tile kitchen counter crumbling beneath his grip, yet as he leaned down to rest his chest upon Meri's back the Alpha could think of nothing other then her...and how complete he felt for the first time ever. She made him whole; his mate. Legs trembled as his body rode out the orgasm, yet even as Adam's breathing grew erratic his manhood remain so damn hard; no doubt a side benefit of being a Were. "You...are mine...and I am...yours, Meri."

Meri let out a soft laugh at the ripping of his shirt, her eyes moving to meet his. It wasn't a challenge, simply an acknowledgement that they had found each other, as they should have. It was strange in some ways to imagine that she could have lived decades more before meeting her mate. She had been fortunate though. She was young and they would have many years together.

His gripping the counter - and breaking it - drew another laugh from her. She would not be likely to do the same with her grip, she was much smaller than he was and her strength manifested very differently - speed and endurance rather than brute ability.

"I am yours and you're mine," she responded, nodding. It was a fact that couldn't and wouldn't be changed. They had found each other and neither would have another mate as long as they both lived.

Adam lost track of all sense of time as his desire for her took hold, yet the wolf knew that if the property damage was any indication...well it had been a few hours at least. Even with his enhanced healing and stamina the Alpha found himself damn near exhausted, but he couldn't resist chuckling softly as they finally crashed on the carpet in the living room.

A quick glance around was all it took to take stock of the damage they had inadvertently done; a broken coffee table, the tile kitchen counter shattered, the bedroom was all but demolished, and even the couch in the living room seemed to have been torn apart at some point during the fun. However the smile of his was likely due to the fact that their seemed to be cupcake icing everywhere. Well everywhere except for on them since that tasty treat had been thoroughly licked clean.

Oh there may no longer have been any frosting left on their skin but red bite and claw marks still littered both their naked forms. Still such things only brightened his grin and the Alpha sighed contently as he basked in the warmth of her closeness. "Think it may just be cheaper to move instead of trying to fix the place up."

Meri looked around as they both landed on the floor and a small grin curved her lips as her eyes turned to him. "I think we broke it," she murmured softly, curling her body against his. They were both a little bit sticky and a lot messy, but she didn't mind. She had very much enjoyed the whole time, and it seemed like he had as well, which was important. She yawned lazily and stretched as she looked around, taking in the mess with a hint of amusement - though underlying that was a little hint of nerves too. She couldn't afford to help pay for this, she knew. She and Cale weren't poor, but this was more than what they could manage.

Her fingers trailed lightly over his cheek and she leaned forward to kiss him. "You could come to our place..." Because she and Caleb had a small home of their own and a nearby park that tended to be acceptable for hunting- at least the small game the two coyotes had the best luck with.

The wolf nodded and flashed a smile in agreement. There was no doubt that the place had been trashed yet Adam didn't really care. After all it was only material things that had been wrecked, and he could replace of it with ease. It paid to be wealthy, and the Locke Pack had worked hard to earn their vast fortune. Under the Alpha's direction no one in his pack would ever want for food, or for anything really. When she mentioned coming to her place he paused to give it serious consideration, and after a moment he slightly shook his head. "I appreciate the offer yet I think it would be more prudent to simply purchase another property for us all. Something large enough to accommodate a dozen people or so, since our pack will be stopping by from time to time."

Our pack. Those two little words conveyed so much, after all she was his mate now...and so his pack was hers. The thought didn't bother Adam in the least, if anything he smiled a bit more at the prospect of having a mate to share with. "That reminds me, I'll put a call in tonight and have arrangements made to ensure that you will have full access to our pack's resources. After all as mate to the Alpha of the Locke Pack, well you now hold rank over all except myself."

A flicker of confusion passed over her face for a moment before it registered that she was now part of a much larger pack. She had not thought of that at all, and she looked down at her hands thoughtfully. "Caleb too?" Because she would not leave her brother behind. He needed someone to look after him and she knew it. She could not leave him to himself.

She leaned against him slightly and shrugged. "I don't need anything really. I work and all... I don't want to be a drain on resources." Because she was able to make enough that she and her brother were provided for, if nothing else.

His heavy eyelids drifted shut for a moment, as the wolf found himself being lulled to sleep as he savored having her scent all around him. Even when she asked after her brother Adam just yawned for a second before speaking up softly. "Him too." There was no debate, nor need to be pressed into it. Since the lame coyote was he family, and thus now part of the Alpha's family as well.

A single eye did open a little when she leaned closer and spoke up once more. Yet he just chuckled a bit before offering up a reply. "A drain on resources? Love...do you not grasp just how wealthy you now are? Quite literally our company netted around 98 million dollars last year alone. That's not even bringing in the other investments we've made, or the off the books jobs either. You could buy anything and everything you've ever dream of Meri...and it wouldn't even put a dent into a single one of our many bank accounts."

"Good," She spoke softly. It had been a concern in a lot of ways. Her brother was damaged, after all, and most packs wouldn't have welcomed him at all. The fact that Adam was willing to bring him along made her a lot more accepting of the move, and the change. She curled closer to him, her own eyes closing for a moment as she settled in.

"That...is going to take time to get used to." Because while she had never lacked for anything, she still had not been wealthy by any means. "Maybe... I could open my own shop one day...?" Because that was the only thing she has ever considered wanting honestly.

The wolf's eyes closed once again as another yawn escaped him. As far as Adam was concerned the matter of her brother's acceptance was already settled, and the Alpha had no doubt that both of the coyotes would be perfectly safe when it came to the pack. Oh there were little details that still needed to be worked out, but such matters were about logistics and nothing else.

When she mentioned it taking time those large shoulders of his just shrugged a little, since time was one thing they both had in spades. Talk of the shop though earned her another chuckle, and his hand wrapped around her as Meri curled closer. "One call is likely all that's needed, and with that our lawyers and accountants could have the real estate purchased and the place in your name within the week. Just say the word and it's yours, Meri."
