Drifter ([info]chaosforcash) wrote in [info]outofshadowsrpg,

Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
WHO: Drifter and Kaisa Galanos
WHAT: Date night
WHEN: 8/23; around 8pm.
WHERE: starting at college campus
RATING: Likely High...it's Drifter.

The sun set at 7:45pm and less then thirty minutes later Drifter was already waiting for her on the street in front of her dorms. Traffic itself hadn't been too bad, though the cops appeared to be out in force thanks to a dead body that had been found only a few blocks away. Still aside from the minor delay he had made it there in record time and was now patiently waiting beside his motorcycle, smoking a cigarette as he lazily looked around the area. This whole thing was strange to Miah, taking Kaisa out for the night.

The business about being a bookboy or something like that, then taking her out to the local jazz club too...the last time he spent time with someone; other then a jam session or partying with a band, was decades ago back when Mariselle was around. Luckily nerves and apprehension never really bothered him in the least, and so he just remained there calmly leaning against his bike as he hummed to himself. When he spotted her heading his way at last a slight little grin tugged at the corner of his lips, and with an arched eyebrow the man took a second to gaze at her. "Looking good, darling. You ready to roll?"

He looked on with lust filled eyes hidden behind his shades as she licked her hand and fingers clean. The sight was thrilling, yet when Kaisa asked for the tour Drifter finally nodded his head. It took a moment to tuck himself back into his jeans, but when that was done he gestured towards the run down manor. The place itself was once quite grand but the mansion had long since been abandoned and run down. Even as he walked inside it was easy to see that the building looked like it should have been condemned; broken windows and glass all around. Warped wood floors, fallen plaster everywhere.

There was no furniture to be seen, nor art on the walls...only the stench of mildew and decay. Yet after leading her towards what was once the kitchen the vampire turned towards a door that was padlocked. After fishing a key out of his pocket and unlocking the door Jeremiah led the way down into the darkness. The basement itself seemed too small compared to the rest of the building yet as he switched on the light she could see another, much larger, metal door. After unlocking it as well Drifter opened the door for her...and there beyond was a fully renovated and luxuriously decorated sub level where he dwelled. No windows down here, no chance of stray rays of sunlight catching him upon fire, the vampire had spent a considerable fortune having this section remodeled.

"Home sweet home, darling."

Following him inside the house, Kaisa was disappointed. The whole place was an entire wreck. She doubted that there was even running water in the place and that was saddening. Already, she was planning on being polite and suggesting they go back to her dorm room instead when he led her to the locked door and down into the basement. There was a prickle of fear at the back of her spine, but it was still muted by the blood and pleasure of the night so she continued to follow.

The sudden splendor of the other rooms surprised her though as she looked around. Now this is what she expected his home to look like. Kaisa smiled at him for a moment before stepping forward. "I was a little worried there for a moment, but this place is amazing Jeremiah."

The upper levels and run down exterior of the mansion had been a simple guise to keep others from prying into the vampire's private affairs. Plus in truth the place was cheaper given it's current state. Now renovating the basement level had taken a small fortune, and time, but both were things that Jeremiah had in ample supple. When she spoke of being worried the vampire just chuckled and shrugged his shoulders before removing his hat and tossing it down onto the nearest chair in the living room that was laid out before them. "The place up top is a shit hole, but no one comes round here to bother me so I figured this was a good place to lay low. Over there, through that door is the bedroom, and over here is the bar."

He nodded for her to follow and stepped into the room. Jeremiah took a second to open upon one of the smaller fridge units he used to keep the liquor cold and placed her bag of left overs inside. "Don't got a proper kitchen or nothing, darling. Never really have use for it. Still your food will be fine in there...keep the drinks and the blood bags fresh, so some leftovers will be fine."

After pausing to grab a can of beer from the unit he closed the door and gestured for her to follow again. "This room is where I store my record
collection. Ya can rummage through it if ya like. Got a lot of shit here and even after all these decades I've only managed to listen to half of em." With a grin he opened the door for her to look in, before heading further down the hallway to another room. "Look around all ya like, Kaisa. I've got a beat stuck in my head and need to pen it down before it slips away. If ya need me I'll be in my music room. Oh if ya need the bathroom the door to it is in the bedroom."

"Well you're right about no one bothering you based on the upstairs. It was a very good way to protect one's privacy, Kaisa had to agree. She was a bit surprised though, he didn't seem like he'd be the type to enjoy solitude, but maybe she just didn't know him well enough yet.

"I'm a little bummed at the lack of kitchen, but you do have a very nice bar.' He had a very nice everything from what she saw. He probably had the money after all these years to be able to as well. Kaisa hoped someday she could be at least half as successful.

Following him into the record room,Kai's eyes were wide as she looked around. "This is amazing!" She had to admit that it was more than she could ever hope to listen to in her lifetime! "Alright, don't take too long." She said with a smile and a quick kiss to his lips before turning back to focus on the records. "Is that the Beatles' white album?" She asked more to herself than to him.

The vampire didn't do solitude just for the sake of it alone, yet when it came time to write or record a new piece of music...nothing beat a bit of self isolation. Well self isolation, and the music expensive recording equipment that one could buy. When she brought up the kitchen and bar Jeremiah just shrugged. It suited his needs well enough, and a kitchen just wasn't something he ever really had need of. "Oh right, help yourself to liquor, sugar. Got just about any and everything under the sun."

The kiss caught Miah off guard but he flashed her a smile and nipped at her lower lip before letting go. Had that damn verse not been itching at the back of his brain he'd have considered just taking her right then and there on the floor of the records room. Teasing and tormenting that sweet body of Kaisa's as an old album played on in the background.

He had started to pull away again, this time softly humming the melody that was swirling around in his brain. When she asked about the white album though Drifter paused to see where she was looking. "Yeah, don't even remember where or when I picked it up. Still if ya dig em then I'd recommend giving a listen to their Sgt. Pepper's album. Think it should be right near the other one. Sorta gotta em listed by name."

He really did seem to have any and all liquor in his bar, but she didn't really think she wanted it. the buzz from alcohol was nice, but blood was better. She chose not to think of that for the moment though and instead focused on the beautiful home. "Thanks."

She smiled warmly at him as he nipped her lip and then stepped back. It was a little disappointing that he was disappearing, but she could understand and let him be. Instead, she started to explore the music room, popping on the beatles first while she began to go through the shelves and making a small stack of records she wanted to listen to.

By the time he'd get back, she was curled up beside the player, napping as the record player was playing Penny lane.
