Staying at Josh's had been a lot less awkward than she thought it'd be. She'd only ever stayed over at one other guy's place before and that was Eric's, somehow this was a lot different. Maybe because she just didn't know Josh as well yet so she wasn't as comfortable around him? Though considering they'd both recently saved each others lives and had already spent some time together, respectively recuperating, you'd think she'd be a little more at ease in his presence. But no, for some reason she still found herself feeling squirrelly around him, though she tried her best to hide it.
Some good old fashioned research definitely helped put her at ease, as that was where Jen was most comfortable, being a total nerd. So she was currently sprawled out on her stomach on the floor of Josh's room, her lap top open in front of her and papers piled in precarious stacks around her. Her Clark Kent glasses were sitting on the edge of her nose; not many people knew this but Jen was actually a bit far sighted. Something she hadn't developed until a year or so before she discovered Clark, so of course she totally blamed it on him. Jen had his glasses anyway so she'd just fixed the prescription to fit her particular vision impairment, though she hardly ever wore them. They made her feel a little silly, but staring at a computer screen for too long forced her to.
"I can't believe Jay and Sarah might be getting married right now, that is just crazy! Not that anything we do isn't crazy..." She was talking over her rapid typing, eyes glued to the screen and pausing to scribble something down on the paper in front of her before tossing it aside, sticking the pencil in her mouth so that the rest of her words slightly muffled. "But I mean, married! This is all very Oliver and Dinah, except it's Steph and Jason. So weird. Hey where is that piece of paper I just had..."
