Add to Memories Tell a Friend
When: December 1999
Character/Pairing: Theo, Pansy can be involved if you want.
Rating: PG
Warnings: Politic plottings
Summary: Theo gives some thought onto what he's starting to do.

Theo sighed and wearily lay back in his chair, rubbing the back of his tense neck with one hand. The night had been very long, for he’d managed to attend not one but two social events, one much smaller than the other.

He felt like he’d spent the entire night talking. There were many wizards and witches whose thoughts he’d needed to hear, but all discussion had to be circumspect on the entirely possible chance that the person he was speaking with held the exact opposite opinions on things that he did.

But on the whole, he had a growing list of names of purebloods and even halfbloods who did not like the growing trend of monitoring certain families. After all, many halfbloods had family who were affected if they weren’t themselves.

Invitations for further discussion were being issued, for drinks at Nott Manor, or dinner, or a “chance” meeting at his business in Diagon or other places. Many seemed willing to listen to his ideas of protest, if a subtle one to start. The last thing anyone wanted was more Ministry interference in their lives, including Theo.

And even more surprisingly, many of them seemed to want him to be in charge, even the older ones. They seemed to think that, if a public face was needed, he was more than appropriate, but perfect. Very much a pureblood, with ties that would attract the Death Eater and more traditional element, but also with an annoyingly clean nose to lure the blood traitors, as he’d never gotten involved during the war. And best of all, the half bloods seemed at least neutral about him, as he ran a good business, had an illegitimate son (surprisingly, that was on the list), and had on occasion snubbed what some considered pureblood values.

He pinched the bridge of his nose between thumb and fore finger. He had a headache even thinking about it—but sometimes, if you needed something done, it really was best to do it himself.

RP: Family Christmas

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Date: December 23 - December 25-ish, 1999
Characters: Theo, Nathan, Ferrol, Amy and Peter Nott; Mandy and Natalie Brocklehurst; Pansy and Nicholas Parkinson; Thomas Connelly
Location: Nott Manor
Private/Public: Private
Rating: G - NC-17
Warnings: TBD
Summary: Theo has had Christmas plans in mind for quite awhile. Herein they unfold. Continued from HERE.

It was Christmas morning, and though part of her was fine with sleeping in, she was still highly anticipating Christmas and the presents that came with it. Especially with all the family that was here, it was bound to be fun.

She climbed out of bed and dressed hastily in casual clothes, running a brush through her hair quickly. It was still relatively early, but she knew Teddy wanted to have everyone open presents before breakfast, if they were willing.

She snuck the short distance down the hall, tapped on Thomas' door but she wasn't surprised when no one answered. He wasn't really a morning person, so she crept in. She'd have to wake him herself.

Amy bounced up onto his bed exuberantly. "Wake up, Tommy, it's Christmas!" she said.
