*is several weeks into what will be a very short tenure at SDS, and he can't say they've been the best weeks of his life* *as if being the new kid in class didn't suck badly enough, he's the new king in class, with at least two security guys on him at all times (the babysitting's bad enough, but they also check his locker and his lunch, and he can't even pretend to be as frustrated as he might be otherwise, now that he's been at the sights-end of a gun)* *hopes Cel's having a better time of it in Gondolin*
*thinks he'd go completely insane if not for Galadriel* *settles on the (empty) school steps with his lunch and backpack to wait for her, as he does every day* *smiles reflexively at a few girls walking by, and they do smile back, but they also hurry past without stopping* *sigh* |

*isn't entirely sure what's been going on in school today but it's been one helluvan odd day, altogether*
*firstly, that new substitute teacher is weird and, then, all the lights go out*
*does what any self-respecting outcast, half-Noldorin, half-Telerin princess would do and bunks school* *texts the boys as she slips off the school grounds* what the mandos? lights out everywhere. heading back to palace now |

*is fairly pleased about having a potential new friend (mostly because she doesn't have all that many friends)* *is less than pleased that the one time she gets to come to Gondolin, her second cousin is also in town (what are the odds?)*
*gets all dolled up and supposes it would be polite to invite her second cousin and, apparently, the son of her sister's friend?* *not that she usually cares about being polite, of course, but should probably make some effort in the country where her sister is Queen*
*heads up to the quarters that were assigned to her (and pretty nice quarters they are too, with two bedrooms and a huge living room, with widescreen TV, etc)* *manages to extract a couple of bottle of vodka from one of the Palace staffers, through a combination of bribery and blackmail* *has a shot of vodka, in the name of experimentation, before the others arrive (and prepares to assume a bored expression if Celeborn arrives first)* |
