* Demigods and minor gods have one thing in common, at least one of their parents is a god, or they are the direct descendant of the gods. It could be assumed, for instance, that a Promestheus or Theseus or Herakles in the present setting could be the direct descendant of the original or even a reincarnation.
* Allegiance is not written in stone. Just because one is fathered or born of a divine parent does not guarantee that they are on the side of the gods. Have fun - play around with the backstory of your character.
* Feel free to use names and epithets from mythology.
* They are not immortal, though they do often possess supernatural characteristics, and it is near impossible for them to be killed by mortals.
* They can be members of The Society (though they tend to be viewed with some degree of suspicion), associate with/work for the gods, be entirely outside the fight (or try to remain outside the fight), freelance or wait to choose sides until they know who is going to win.
