It hadn't been the easiest thing to do, sealing up his room. Still, by the time the sun started to peek over the horizon, Todoroki had been confident the thick blankets covering the window would be good enough to protect him. He knew what he was, but not what kind of limits he would likely have. He wasn't even sure if there were anyone who could help him with his current condition. Who knew how long this was going to last, if it would even go away. He couldn't remember being bitten or why this would have happened, but he supposed if he could convince Bakugo to let him drink from him, he could have been convinced to forget something. It was unsettling, and he hadn't felt in control at all, but the blonde was still breathing, and currently still asleep on the other side of the bed from where Todoroki was currently laying with a book, reading despite the lack of light.
It had been a long night, and really he was amazed by how well Bakugo was sleeping. Though, he supposed he was probably to blame for that. The other boy was pale, and red still stained the white shirt he was wearing. His coat and boots had been tossed on the floor with the more annoying aspects of Todoroki's own costume.
He was feeling tired now, and he supposed the small streak of light peeking out of the top of his makeshift light guard was enough to tell him it was morning. He turned the page, glancing to the side when he saw a black tipped ear flick. He'd definitely taken to amusing himself with those last night as well. Warm. Real. He wasn't sure how that was possible either, but if he managed to stay awake long enough, he might ask if anyone knew anything. He was doubting it, though. He breathed out a sigh and slumped more heavily against his pillows, reaching over a hand to tug the covers up and over Bakugo's shoulder a bit more before returning to his reading. If he dozed a little bit, it didn't feel like the end of the world. Bakugo had probably considered just killing him off for far less.
