RP: Sam, G
Who: Sam, G
Where: LA, NYC
When: October 29, 2010
Summary: Sam and G go from following a terrorist to the Omega reality in the blink of an eye

They were running down an empty, gun out and ready. No one seemed to be around, but Sam could hear the foot steps. Sam and G quicked the pace, moving in unison without having to say a word; a simple look once in a while was more than enough to say everything they meant to say. Faster, closer, Sam could now see the suspect. He blinked as a glimmer appeared; the sun must have hit against some metal surface. Sam paid no attention, too used to go after his target no matter the condition.

"Stop! Federal agents," he warned, just before the suspect shot at them without even looking. One day one of these assholes would stop, but today wasn't the day. He and G shot back, still running. The glimmer was back, but he dismissed it and when they moved past it, everything seemed to change and stay the same at the same time.

The suspect was gone, Sam couldn't hear footsteps, and things were slightly different: a garbage can that wasn't there before, cars that appeared out of no where. Training had him surveying the area, looking for treats, while moving closer to G, ready to protect his partner. "What the- What did just happen, G?"

Hetty watched the video feeds in silence. Though she made it a point to know what was going on where, she rarely intervened unless the group was unruly or off track. Even though these weren't 'her' people, they were getting there and she let them do their job.

Until Leon spotted their quarry and she allowed herself an enigmatic smile.

"They'll try to check in," she said, "follow protocol as long as they can before striking out on their own. That road would lead them to our safehouse. From there, they might try the office. But, after that, they'll disappear."

Even in another dimension, she'd put her money on those two being able to drop off the radar completely before most others could blink.

He had assumed so. All NCIS agents were trained for the unexpected, and he couldn't imagine anything more unexpected than this, but Hetty knew these two men better than anyone else, and he would have considered deviating from procedures if her instinct told her otherwise.

"422 Ocean Avenue, in Seal Beach. Send two- make it three units. I want them in position when they get there." Hopefully, they would continue to follow procedures. "Put everyone on notice. They will shoot to kill the moment they think they are being fired upon. We need them tranquillized before they can reach for their guns." He didn't want anyone hurt, on either side. These agents and soldiers weren't NCIS, but they were still his responsibility.

Leon turned to Hetty. "Should we have tea while we wait?"
