Where: Cell Phone, Eliot & Parker's house presuming everyone is moved into their new digs
Summary: Eliot had a s(l)ight problem.

Eliot had noticed the slight discoloration of his eyes after he'd showered that morning. He'd chalked it up to having a shitty night's sleep.

By late afternoon, when he was washing up to prepare dinner, his eyes were more red than white. He'd been working outside on the new garden and figured he'd rubbed something into them on accident. A few eyedrops and he went on with his evening.

Reading before bed, his vision grew more and more cloudy and figured his previous night's sleep had caught up to him. When he went to take a final piss, the mirror told him something was very, very wrong.

The cell was charging on the nightstand, and he had a hell of a time seeing to find the correct person on it to call. His free hand balled into an anxious fist as he waited for Morgan to answer the phone and he didn't bother to say hello. "Medical emergency. Do I go to the base hospital?"

April probably shouldn't want to laugh, but the comment made her all the same. "Eliot you're horrible," she said fondly, looking into his eyes once more.

"It has to be the power," she said. "I've never even heard of anything like this." Not that she wouldn't be searching every medical book she had at home for something like this just in case. "I want to be updated on what's happening," she said to Eliot, wishing he was still in the house with her because that would make it easier to keep an eye on him. "I don't care if it's in the middle of the night, if something suddenly changes, I want to know about it, okay?"

"Otherwise, I'll come by first thing in the morning to take a look and then we can make a decision on what we need to do."

Derek didn't like this. Parker would be the only one capable to defend herself in the house. "You should consider going back to the house," he said. "Mike is still there. You won't have your beds, but I'm sure no one will care if you crash on the couch. April would be there, and wouldn't have to come running from Colonel's Row, and Parker would have back up in case something happens."

He sighed. "I'm not going to make it an order, but it's a lot safer, and it wouldn't leave Parker completely responsible for this building."

	April was relieved. She hadn't wanted to suggest it seeing how he didn't have his bed, but she was definitely happier having Eliot there. "Not at all, in fact I'd prefer it. Also one of you can take my bed." It wasn't as if she used it most night anyway. She liked having it there, but she spent most nights with Mike in his. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Derek didn't react at the agreement, although he had to wonder how much it was the result of him saying that it wasn't an order. Spencer's inability to follow orders seemed ingrained more than a conscious decision.

"All right, since we're settled, pack whatever you need, and I'll drive you back, and you can keep me appraised of what's going on. I'll also make sure that you're excused from work tomorrow. I'll wait for you downstairs."
