Run, you'll never escape, you see, you'll go nowhere... Characters: Billy, Teddy, Wanda Setting: JFK International airport, main lobby thing before security check in, early evening Content: Nothing bad Summary: Billy goes to the airport to see Wanda and Teddy off.
Wanda stood near a bench, checking she and Teddy's papers for what seemed the fiftieth time. She was being paranoid, but it eased her mind. Their passports and fake driver's licenses identified them as Anna and Chris Morgan, a grad student from NYU and her younger college freshman brother taking a trip overseas in the last week before the spring semester began. They had false parents, addresses, social security numbers, even dental insurance cards. S.H.I.E.L.D. was thorough with its undercover agents.
Everything was in order, their assumed identities were solid, now all that was left was to make sure Teddy learned a few Chinese phrases on the ride over. Wanda had a book tucked into her purse. They could probably get a lot learned; it was going to be a long flight. Hell, it was going to be a long trip. A week, which didn't seem that trying, but when you ran the risk of being captured and executed as a spy because technically S.H.I.E.L.D. had no legal rights to send agents to this city at all. Well. Long trip.
Wanda had said her goodbyes to Pietro and Cap at the Avengers Tower, said goodbye to Tommy when she picked up Teddy at the hotel, and even tracked down Tony long enough to cover his face with kisses and then disappear. Teddy had his own goodbyes to make. Billy accompanied them to the airport and into the airport's lobby. Nick would probably be irritated at this potential blowing-of-cover by allowing Billy to come along, but Wanda would deal with that if it came up. Bringing Billy with them to the airport wasn't just for Teddy's sake. Wanda hadn't seen him since New Year's and admittedly rather wanted to get a chance to say goodbye to him too.
