At the unfinished question, Teddy's eyes rolled towards the ceiling and he gave an innocent pout, trying not to feel too glad that Billy didn't make him answer it. He would feel bad for saying 'No' himself, because then he'd have to try to fumble through not saying he found Tommy irritating and strange and really just a lot to handle and he was thinking of it anyway now and he quickly busied himself pouring a glass of orange juice for Billy to cover his fluster.
"I don't know how long I can keep it up without my new friend Carla, but I think I'd like you a little spoiled," he could answer instead, settling back and offering the glass, draping his arm along the couch behind Billy to tug newspapers out from behind his shoulders and push them up the cushions.
