Ain’t no monster clown Who is as lovable.
Characters:AVENGERS,OTA, multi-threads
Setting:Central park
Content:Fun and games and greasy food, maybe fighting if something bad happens
Summary:Being an Avenger sometimes means kissing babies and shaking hands
It was a chilly afternoon by Wollman Rink but people were still out. It seemed as if everyone in the city was there to me the heroes and have some wintery fun at the fair they set up. All proceeds of the fair would, of course, go to the Worm Hole Relief fund. It was good, Tony pointed out, for the public to find them accessible. And they weren't getting the best press with the numerous monster attacks and the constant destruction of property. The team really needed some good PR.
A few short years ago Bruce would have never agreed to be this close to children or adults for that matter. Hulk was too unpredictable and there was no middle ground. He suspected that was his fault for trying to suppress him for so long. But now it was different. Here Hulk was in the middle of Central Park taking pictures with kids. Bruce tried to put up an argument against going but was eventually wore down by Stark.
"You gotta, we're all going!" Tony Argued. "How's it going to look if there's no big guy?! The kids are crazy about you, y'know, do it for them if not for me...I'll have Pepper get that organic, gluten-free, tasteless whatsit you spread on everything."
So he went green for the day. It wasn't as if there were any wormholes that day to study or monsters to fight anyway. So far things were going well. No surprises, no aggression triggers. The only hiccup was his response to a little girl who wanted to know what she should do about a bully at school.
"Crush him!"
The kids seemed to like the response so he supposed that was good enough
