He wasn't going to get away that easily. Late as it might be for visitors to be knocking, Pietro was still at the door quicker than Tony could run, though he looked briefly surprised to find him on the other side of the door.
He offered a small smile, which grew wider as he jerked his head for Tony to come inside, opening the door wider. He'd been trying not to get in Tony's way. Which had probably not been the best way to approach things, particularly when it came to the last time Tony had been knocking on a door, but Pietro still couldn't quite remember what he'd done to Tony in the prison, only the guilt he felt for it. But ignoring Tony was at least as bad as fawning over him. And Pietro had missed him.
"I didn't know you were coming, come in. Wick! Tony's here."
