I've had boxing gloves on since before I could walk-
Characters: Happy and Frank
Setting: Hogan's Boxing Gym
Content: Nothing unseemly
Summary: Happy makes a new friend or something
The gym was pretty dead tonight, but who was Hap kidding, that was usually the case. It'd been a lot deader since the zombie problem what with some of his regulars, well, actually dead. A lot of the old timers had been trickling back though as they got their lives back on track and it was a relief to see familiar faces. He'd got some new ones too, which he couldn't really account for, but he wasn't going to turn his nose up at new business. Tonight, though, tonight any business would've been good business. He'd've hosted a yoga class just to get some cash in the till. This place, his own personal pipe dream, would not be a failed venture. Happy couldn't let that happen.
Old Vick who liked to watch the televisions and the bouts in the ring and who occasionally plodded along on the treadmill, was the only person Happy had seen for hours and even he'd wandered out while Happy was taping up his hands. Bored, he'd decided to have a few rounds with a punching bag and now he was alone and sweaty, jabbing and feinting at an inanimate object that couldn't fight back. Still boring. What he wouldn't give for a friendly match right now, that'd be something. Pass the time, get him some real practice. Hogan was restless.
