Her brow raised. "I don't know, I think the virus out there is doing a hell of a job of that already." Jessica shrugged, hiding her smile behind her fingers. It was horrible to laugh or even smile at how massive a clusterfuck the world had become, but it had to have been because she could still hardly believe it some days. Besides, she was here with her friend for the first time in what felt like forever, she didn't want to get caught up in all the negative emotions that she and everyone else were plagued with. When the question came back around to her, she made a face at her and leaned back, eyes up at the ceiling.
"You know, I'm alright. I'm alive." A little bit of a cop-out answer, she chuckled and added, "But if I was capable of getting absolutely shit-faced, I would. Just to be numb from it all for a day."
