For once, Alex seemed to understand that now was not the time to push boundaries. He'd kept underground, and had taken rather surprising initiative to zombie proof the Cocoon. Food had been carefully rationed-- or at least, as well as a teenage boy could manage in that aspect-- and various booby traps and hindrances had been set up around the various entrance and exit points. He'd even rigged up a series of cameras to watch outside the compound.
Most of the lights were off to perserve the generators, and it was very quiet. The usual sounds of his x-box hadn't been heard for some time. In fact, right now, Alex was carefully assembling, and cleaning a good chunk of the weaponry hidden away down here, counting ammo and assembling military grade guns as casually as playing with his psp.
The dinosaur didn't even have the heart to swoop down at Fury today, it simply screeched at his approach, and Alex looked up, eyes sharp, relaxing when he recogniszd the figure.
