Alexander had thought he was being quite clever when he'd stowed away inside the jet. Nicholas was going to need help on this one, but he was sure no amount of arguing was going to get him to agree to bring Alex along with him. It had been a good plan until Fury left the jet for the helicopter.
Alex couldn't crawl inside without Nick seeing, and he wasn't giving up now. Besides, it wasn't like he could just catch a cab home, and Daisy would probably kill him if he called asking to be picked up.
So he'd caught hold of the helicopter's feet as it took off, clinging as best he could as it made it's way to the crime scene. It took a hell of a lot longer than Alex would have liked, which would have been bad enough if not for the horrible landing, and a bruised and battered Alex staggered back away from it without the stealth he'd originally imagined.
"...Man, you need to work on your landings Nicholas."
