What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly
Characters: Alexander Aaron, Daisy Johnson, Nick Fury
Setting: The Cocoon-> Unspecified Location
Content: Pg-13
Summary: Mission time for the caterpillars, and Alex has been acting odd.
It hadn't been big things, not at first. The change had been so small and so slight that it was hardly noticeable. Alexander was, after all, a pre-teen, the peek age of all things angsty and hormonal. Moodiness was nothing new for the young god to be, but the things that set him off seemed to have changed. Video games that were once his escape seemed to hit him far more personally, and the poor digital prostitutes of grand theft auto had never had it so bad. Bickering prompted physical reactions instead of the usual eye roll, and his door slamming had become a regular interruption. He took to his training easier now, and didn't need to be yelled at to shut down his game. The couch looked strangely empty without him. Part of the reason he wasn't spending his time virtually killing strangers might have been that earlier that week he'd broken his controller when he threw it. He didn't tell anyone, just stashed it away and shrugged it off when he was asked why he wasn't playing. He didn't understand what was wrong with him lately.
Alex bounced on the balls of his feet, hands wrapped and heavy bag swinging slowly. He'd mastered nearly every weapon imaginable, but there was still the matter of training himself to use his body, and that was something that seemed to impossible to perfect. He shook his hair from his face, hitting the bag again, and letting out a puff of air. This was too easy. He knew what was going to happen, the bag didn't even move, it didn't fight back. He needed a sparring partner. He needed... "Daisy? When are we going out? I'm fucking bored."
