Off the Island

Hello, lovelies~!

For those of you who missed the announcement in the chat last night, we wanted to recap the information and give you all time to prepare for it. Our lovely mod Xi is going to be phasing herself out of the game, as at the end of July she may well have to leave the game as she is moving--to China! This is a very big and exciting event for her, even if we will miss her terribly. Before anyone starts to panic, we want to assure that the game is not closing, we will be continuing on and David will be looking for a co-mod eventually.

That said, the plot we are cooking up to work her out should be very exciting! It will take place in a few weeks and will result in the destruction of at least one block, at least one death and could result in escapes and all around in-character drama fun~! More details will be revealed as we near the date, so stay tuned!

If you want to be involved in the July Tournament, please comment here, and adding in how far you would like to see your mutant get would be glorious. Commenting before Friday (the 26th) would be ideal if possible. ( More info on Tournaments )

So, quick plot update for those of you w ho may have missed it!

Quicksilver took it upon himself to storm the island to try and save his sister, needless to say, this did not end too well for him. You can read the full thread here, but basically the assault took place at dawn, which is around 6AM on Revolve. Most of your kids would have been tucked happily into bed, but that does not mean it has to go unnoticed!

Shy sounded the alarm, so that could have woken people up, maybe Carr was dragged out of bed early to go be a grease monkey and fix something and was shoved back into his cell? Mutants and Owners can talk about the attack, and let's not forget that people are going to now have pre-conceived notions of the guy who would take on Revolve solo, and still manage to take out a few guards in the process. It's more than a bit impressive, so start plotting there!

Also, June 3rd is the game's 6 month anniversary, and us modly types are working on cooking up a fun little mini-vacation for your mutants to celebrate! Lee and one of her characters is going to be helping us out with making it all happen, but start thinking up who your mutants would be hanging out with, and which of them would have the biggest, strongest, most urgent wants to go somewhere--and where that 'somewhere' might be. There's lots of fun that can come out of this, including some bloody recapture-the-mutant fights, for those of you who would like them.

More details later, but start using your imaginations now. Groups of 2-4 would be ideal for fast-paced group threads.
