Apparently, and also surprisingly, Eve's question about music had caused some sort of epiphany on Savannah. She could tell that by the way the brunette didn't answer, but sported a focused, deep-thinking expression on her face. Eve was not about to interrupt.
She noticed the changes on Savannah, overall, as she seemed to straighten her shoulders and hold her chin up. She wasn't like this before. What Savannah said next took Eve by surprise, but a good kind of it. It even made her smile in admiration. Fastest comeback ever. Eve held off on the vocalized celebrations until she was sure Savannah could stand properly, but then she chuckled into her hug.
"Oh wow!" Eve returned the hug, still a little taken aback. "Wow, I like you like this! Definitely, send me an online message or something, we'll get coffee!"
She wasn't sure exactly how grief combined with snagging herself a man, but then again, Eve did not know much about grief anyway; except that everybody dealt with it differently. Eve waved, grinning, and leaned back again. Realizing she would like to think she'd helped, Eve decided she was going to. Couldn't hurt.
