Eve started at the sudden burst of emotion about food, but she wouldn't judge, or even ask why.
"Okay, no food. But at least some tea, or something? Maybe it would help you feel a little less dizzy." She suggested softly. Eve could try the soft approach, given that the 'cruel to be kind' one had clearly backfired. When the stranger opened her eyes, Eve smiled, also softly. At least the world was not spinning so hard, perhaps.
The smile vanished from Eve's face when she really looked at the other girl's face. Pale, battered, and sad.
"I can see that." She said simply, still not changing her tone. In fact, it was a bit softer still. "That's why I'm still here. Because honestly, whatever happened to you, if it were me I'd like someone to help me, even if only a little - and even if they had no idea what I was going through."
