Phoenix laughed softly when he protested her leaving. But she had to. Besides, she didn't want someone else breaking into his room. She shifted around to be sitting on his lap, gazing down at Ios. Ah, she liked this position. This was much nicer.
"I promise I won't disappear. There is no chance of me disappearing unless I become Old Me," she leaned down carefully and pressed her forehead to his, grinning like the Cheshire cat, "Yes, there's really room service. Dunno if the ship phones so you can call the kitchen but it's so worth the attempt right?"
Phoenix placed a hand on his cheek, "Stay well, sweet, smoky Prince." She kissed him again, a little longer, a little deeper before starting to move to leave again. Maybe he didn't have her figured out all that well after all.
