It finally came to mind that if it weren't for his brothers, Iosef could probably just take some of his parents' money and go live in Japan if he wanted to. But he wouldn't, not now. Change was a difficult thing for him, even more so when it had just goddamn punched him in the face. Plus, even if his brothers didn't really have much use for him, he wouldn't leave them out of the blue.
Iosef welcomed Phoenix's body curled up against his; he put a hand over her shoulders and back and just laid there, looking at nothing in particular. He just felt a little warmer than he had before, and that was a good thing.
"You hoping to get lost just for shits and giggles?" He asked, laughter in his voice. "So I guess we aren't there yet...Or maybe we both are." What a little philosopher. Of course this was nothing like philosophy, it was just...logic, he thought.
Either they hadn't been sucked up into the Triangle and that's why they could see each other, or they both had been sucked in and that's why they could see each other. And why in the hell was he even thinking about this like a possibility? He wasn't even high!
