Iosef gave her an apologetic look. Obviously he didn't mean to hurt her, and she probably knew that, but he still felt pretty bad about it.
The way she told her tale of magic fingers made Iosef smile, and so did the idea of cookies. Even if she had eated them. Though it was kind of sad that she had no cookies, especially because since she'd mentioned them, Iosef realized he could really use some.
"That's too bad." Not that the cookies would make him reminisce about his childhood, especially since his mother had never been the baking type; but in the convenience store they had these packets of chocolate chip cookies that were in no way comparable to the real deal, but still tasted pretty good.
He tried to shake his head at her question, but of course lying down didn't let that happen. "No. Not so much." He looked at her arm again. "How's your arm? I mean, other than the fact that it's hurting like a mother because I grabbed it." He gave her that apologetic smile again.
