"See, the problem with me 'proving it' is that your version fun and my version of fun tends to be quite different." John said in reply, finally giving up and setting his book aside. It didn't look like he was going to find out who the murderer was any time soon. "Fine, I'll take a break. Care to enlighten me as to what exactly it is you think I should be doing?" It was a question that he didn't really expect an answer to. At least, not an answer that he would like. Somehow, he couldn't exactly picture himself laying out by the pool tanning.
"Oh, there absolutely is. His name is Jeeves." John said in mock seriousness, barely holding back an amused chuckle. Sophie was entirely too much fun to tease. Really, it was a large part of the reason that he stuck around. The bodyguard grabbed the book that she had pulled out of her bag and started to look it over. "More research for your part I take it?" There was no trace of the usual teasing in his voice this time around. He tried not to tease Sophie about her profession. Especially since it was because of that profession that he had a job.
"Maybe." John said in response to her comment on the heat. "But its still a great deal hotter then I'd like. And I have to admit that I haven't gone swimming in...." He paused to think on the subject, legit unable to remember for a moment. "God, since the last time you forced me too."
