"Hey, I can I do fun." He answered defensively, shooting her one of his 'looks.' They never quite seemed to work on Sophie however. Far from being scared, or at least put in her place, the young actress tended to act amused. Which usually ended up annoying John more. Still, it never stopped him from trying. He liked to think he was intimidating, even if Sophie never showed it. "And I'm not on vacation. I seem to recall that I'm on this ship because I'm working, you brat." The words seemed harsh, but there was obvious affection in his voice.
"Its called a book. You know, what of those things with words that you are barely acquainted with?" John said with a grin, making a face when she stole his book. "And you know this from your years of experience playing clue, yes?" He shot back, taking his book and flipping through the pages in an attempt to find his spot. "You say gorgeous, I say hotter then hell. But hey, tomato, tomato." He replied, shrugging. "There's not a whole lot for me to do on board. At least, not that I've found."
