Who: Jean and Peter
Where: Ship's Chapel
When: Early afternoon
She'd said yes! Jean was still having trouble getting past that part. But he had to, if they were going to have a wedding. Since he needed to go ask Father Fitzpatrick if he'd marry them. He'd heard there was a Protestant pastor on board, but Jean had never met him. Father Peter was a lovely man, and he was rather hoping he'd made a good impression on the priest.
He headed into the chapel, stopping when he saw the cross. Jean wasn't really Catholic, he'd sort of decided it wasn't for him about first communion. His maman had been rather disappointed, but she never pushed her beliefs on him or Nathan. That said, he hurried crossed himself before looking around for the priest.
He hoped the father would have time to do it tonight. Not that there was any sort of hurry, but there was and there wasn't. Yes, he was having trouble thinking straight because he was so nervous and giddy at the same time.
She'd said yes!
