TIME UPDATE [08 Apr 2009|07:01pm]
DATE: Saturday, January 2, 2010.

WEATHER: Warm, sunny, and beautiful. It's back to paradise, as far as the weather goes. Temperatures are high and there are only a few white, fluffy clouds in the sky. There's a great breeze in the afternoon.

EVENTS: The events on-board the ship are widely unknown to staff and passengers alike, and being kept secret by the crew. Members of the crew are unhappy and uneasy, though as always, they do their best to be calm, reassuring, and professional. Somehow, more people have gone missing overnight - and absolutely no one knows how. One thing is certain - those who have gone missing day were accounted for yesterday. Feigning some amazing (and unlikely) mystery hiding spot, the only explanation is that they've gone overboard. But how and why? The options are more than enough to make the crew uneasy. This time, the disappearances are not announced to the ship. The crew will insist that everything is fine, though nothing has changed since yesterday. And regarding those who went missing yesterday, there is still no sign of them whatsoever.

All forms of communication off of the ship are still down, no changes can be found or reported. Clocks still aren't working. There is one amazing thing that has happened on the ship, and once again, there is no explanation for it. Chelsea has healed. All injuries she incurred on the ship are gone, save for a few minor scrapes and bruises. She has no signs of head or new spinal trauma, and has regained complete mobility of her hands and arms. A doctor will have no medical explanation for how this has happened. It can only be... a miracle.

An event will be happening at 2 PM this gameday. Please don't scene past that point.

petals and glass [08 Apr 2009|07:46pm]
Who: Katie
When: Early morning (3 AM)
Where: Her room, the halls

"Ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down..."

Katie's eyes shot open, as if waking from a nightmare. She was breathless and cold. She thought she heard children singing. For a few long moments, she was unable to hear anything above her own labored breathing, and her heart, which was pounding in her ears. She felt paralyzed; she was utterly terrified, and at the same time, she had absolutely no idea why. Had she been dreaming? Was she awake now? Was any of this real?

Never Broken [08 Apr 2009|11:11pm]
Who: Chelsea, Lisa, Sean, and Molly
When: About 7 am
Where: Chelsea's room

Chelsea had finally gotten to sleep. Despite the neck brace and the whole not moving much thing, it was fairly easy, actually. That tended to happen when you'd been awake for the better part of two days. Even with her friends to keep her company, she was grateful when the nurse came and told her she could sleep.

If only they'd remembered to shut the damn curtains before going to sleep. Light was streaming in from outside. Grumbling, Chelsea pulled the sheets up over her head and rolled onto her side, closing her eyes to try to get a little more sleep.

Wait... did I just... Chelsea sat upright in bed, just staring at her hands, completely speechless. For a moment, all she could do was look at them before testing each one, wiggling them one at a time while looking at them awestruck. She reached up and felt her neck... her arms weren't heavy at all, and there was no pain at all. In fact, aside from a few cuts and bruises, it was as if she hadn't been injured at all the day before. She ran her tongue along her teeth- even those had been replaced.

"Ho-lee SHIT!" she screamed as she ripped off the neck brace. She didn't care who she woke up, in her room or in other rooms. She held the neck brace in her restored hands and stared at it as she twisted her head around to make sure it was perfectly fine.
