The only other person sitting further from the podium was Marita -- and that's because she wasn't sitting at all. Fortunately, the announcement had made it pretty clear where and when passengers and staff could expect the meeting...and even though Marita had bigger fish to fry at the moment, every instinct she possessed was telling her to stop in at the meeting for just a second.
She waited until the lobby was clear before taking up her station at the door. From here, she ushered the last of the latecomers into the meeting just as Sean began to address the audience. With her broad smile, polite hellos, and air of confidence, surely she was supposed to be there.
Marita's position allowed her to overhear the conversation within without actually stepping into the theatre -- most of it, anyway. To the occupants of the theatre, whether their backs were turned or whether they were on-stage, she was nigh invisible...and that was just the way she wanted it.
She lingered long enough to be sure she had heard all of the points -- where they would be moving to, when the move would take place, etc. -- and then, as quietly as she had come, Marita simply turned and left.
