Rating TBD
Talking with Susan had put Bones' mind at ease, but there was still a lot to be done. From what she had said, the resistance was scattered and it was unlikely that many of them remembered or even knew about the days of the Order. With the media blackout, Bones hadn't heard much while living in France, so Voldemort's takeover had been kind of a shock. He might have returned sooner had the Prophet bothered to report the attacks at all. It was a little maddening, but there wasn't much he could do about it now. What he could do now, however, was get in touch with people who could help bring everyone back together. That was why his first stop was to see Liam Moon. Liam was the easiest to find, honestly. There might be other former Order members, but they were all hidden or on the run or probably less than willing to put their lives and families at risk. Perhaps Liam would be the latter, but he had to try. There were kids out there with their lives at stake, and Bones didn't want a repeat of the first war. This time they needed to win. Liam was still working by the time Bones arrived, so he waited. Everyone was so on-edge that he did his best to look as non-intimidating as possible. He didn't know how well he succeeded. He'd been told that he needed to look friendlier, but that was honestly just what his face did. Fixed permanently in a grumpy sort of scowl. He couldn't help it. So when the door did open, he tried to soften his expression, but how well he did was entirely up to Liam and the other man walking with him. Probably his producer or something. Bones didn't know, he didn't listen to his show. Regardless, he knew that Liam wasn't expecting a ghost from his past to show up today, so Bones wasn't expecting a welcoming hug or anything. |
