And there was the question. It was out. Blunt. Forward. In some ways it made things much easier. In some ways it showed just how much had changed. Two decades ago, the two wouldn't have had to ask these questions. 'But,' Liam mused, 'that's what happens when one of you comes back from the dead unexpectedly.'
"That depends," Liam said tersely. "If you're willing to take a Wizard's Oath on your magic that you aren't a threat to the Order, then the answer is yes." While the words were a bit casual, there was a threat behind them. They'd lost too much and too many for the Order to fall again. He and Remus needed to see to it that they had their numbers together and they had leadership.
They needed to fight to get their bloody world back. Nothing was going to stop him.
