Distraction? What distraction?
This is simply a party for the New York Kindred!

Garnet rented out one of the fanciest ballrooms in the city for this event. Grand staircase entrance? Check. Gold gilding everywhere? Check. Blood from the bag and vein? Check. If someone doesn't have a mask, the hostess has many spares, all curated from either her personal collection or friends from the Paris court. Ghouls and human thralls are invited as well.

Requested dress code is anything dressy from the kindred's era. If not, a suit will do just fine. Be as overstated as you wish! In need of something sparkly to go with your look? The hostess also has you covered!

Vampires all over the city wake the evening of the 19th to an elegant invitation with the details to the party set for an hour after sunset. At the bottom, in block font instead of script, is Garnet's contact information, just in case of questions. Of course, in her true fashion, the paper is framed in a sparkle that, thankfully, doesn't come off like real glitter. From all accounts, it looks like something that was in the plans for months, rather than the few short days it took. Once a Toreador has a project in their hands, they don't let go, so to speak. One is even sent to the Prince and Primogen, in case they decide to make an appearance.

While there is a DJ, there will also be a string band in attendance. Both will take requests. Dance, drink, be merry. Not too merry, of course, there are eyes everywhere, watching and waiting. © tessisamess

	Garnet was almost the first to arrive, only to make sure everything was up to the high standards she'd set. Not to be upstaged, she went in something 80's-ish in choice of dress and a mask she designed herself. (Reply to this) (Parent)
