King Cole has called for his fiddlers.
In light of the Oracle of the Storyteller's prophecy, King Cole, being the merry man that he is, has decided to make a delightful event between now and his imminent demise. In two weeks' time, he will be holding a deathbed festival in Spellton, during which visitors may freely visit Magic's Keep as well as enjoy what Spellton has to offer. Activities include magic contests and displays, jousting, samplings of various food and drink from around Compendia, matchmaking, and more. A rare wishing well will also be open to the public, but get in line early or miss your chance.
At the height of the festival will be a masked ball, held in Magic's Keep for royals and commoners alike. Cole will also be using this opportunity to search for a potential successor to name before he dies, but be wary, because this vulnerable position will be attacked from all sides.
