Before Sam speaks, there's a long, silent pause. It's obvious that there was some hesitation before he left the following message:

"Hey, Bobby. It's Sam. I know - it sounds crazy, but uh...it's me. Just gimme a call when you get this, all right? My number is [insert number here]. I'm thinkin' about heading your way, so if you're in town let me know."
