Hey folks. My deepest, most sincere apologies to every body. I know I have been terribly absent and I will not make excuses. Best explanation: from October until after Christmas is a mentally draining time in my family (for personal reasons I'm not going to expound upon). No sooner did I begin to get my sure footing back within the house, work decided that I had earned the right to become what we term a "key holder" (which I've determined is nothing more than a strange name for a shift manager). That simply put means more work for very little more pay (which I haven't even gotten the raise for as yet >:( ). With all that said, I am going to work diligently to make time to post. Granted, my time will be a bit more limited than what I was used to having when I started this job with no more than 28 hours a week (now working no less than 36-39.5 a week), but I will make a point of stopping in here on days off and in the evenings when I know I can devote some time to threading.

And on that note.... Threading!!!!! Yes please... my characters are all alive and dying to get some writing time in ASAP so hopefully there are some characters out there that would like to talk with them.

Hey all, it's me, your admittedly absent player and mod... Mandy.

My apologies for my absenteeism. Work got a bit hairy there for a while, what with one person getting fired, another person quitting and another almost getting fired. My usual 28-35 hours quickly jumped to 38-40. That, and add that I'm also carrying a part-time job that I work on my days off most of the time, and my husband just changed jobs after almost 3 years.... yeah, suffice to say RL ended up taking priority.

As it stands now, I have taken myself down to part-time hours at my gas station job and will still be working weekends doing food demos. But all in all, I think I will actually see some free time which means.....

Hello everybody!

I'm Ari, nice to meet you. I probably know some of you on here, and undoubtedly will meet some new people, so YAY.

I'm bringing you this lovely Korean gentleman, his name is Jae-Hwa Yoon (though in Korean the surname comes first, so Yoon Jae-Hwa works too). He goes by Jae or Jay. I will use Jae in my writings, but whichever is easier for you is fine for me. He is going to be all sorts of confused, and disoriented, much like most people would be if they were transported to some random island.

I think the biggest thing to note with him is that he is NOT taken from any sort of canon. He is an honest to -deity or universal force- original character. He plays video games (fond of survival horror), but doesn't really keep up on American television too hardcore.

His English is decent, because he's spoken it since grade 3, but he still gets lost on idioms and some of the nuances.

I'm still getting a feel for the muse, so I'm really wanting to mold him out, and figure out more about his personality. He's a goofball, loves to make people laugh. He's a bit of a clutter fiend. I don't want to say he's dirty, because he's not. I don't know if his roommate is the "my living space has to be perfect" sort, so this could get interesting. He has two younger sisters, and a friend named Susanna. I'm not looking for anyone to roll them, I know this is predominantly a pan-fandom game and all.

Just a note on me and my availability. I currently work part time, and I'm going to school full-time for my Bachelor of Science in Animation Technology. The school I attend runs classes for 10 week terms (broken into two 5 week modules, different classes each module). This means that every 5 weeks, I'm in finals week. Until the end of November I should be relatively around. I have an online class and an in-seat class and both are kind of chill, but they can demand some major crunch time from me. I'm not aiming to have to hiatus a lot, I just may have more sporadic moments. Bare with me, please.

Hello! I'm Aurora, and I'm bringing in Rose Hathaway from the Vampire Academy series. She's a Dhampir, a half-human, half-vampire, and she's been training to fight evil vampires all her life so...uh...evil vampires beware?

I'm bringing her in from Blood Promise, where she's in a bad state after having been imprisoned and drank from for a while, so maybe evil vampires don't have to beware. Just yet.

My computer died last night..sadness, I know. But the upside is my mamaw was nice enough to order me a new tower this morning, and the estimated delivery time is sometime between the 30th of this month and the 5th of August. So, provided that they live up to that I shouldn't be out a computer for much longer. For the moment all this means is that I will be slow tagging stuff, because my mamaw's tablet isn't as easy to type on as a keyboard. So, everyone knock on wood that it does come sooner rather than later.

So, quick update: I went M.I.A. when my computer had to have the motherboard replaced. Got that back about 2 weeks later and found out our power cord was trashed so had to wait for a paycheck to replace that. Finally did that, and then my brother-in-law's health went downhill much more quickly than the doctors had diagnosed and his battle with cancer went from the 6-9 months the doctors gave to 6 weeks before he passed away. So, yes, I'm back, but my husband and I will be travelling to Washington state Wednesday, June 18 and will not return until Monday, June 23. I will do my best to try and get back in the swing of things a bit before we leave. Once we're back, I hope to be able to be active again - around that wonderful work schedule, of course. I've missed you all and hate that I've missed so much in the game, but look forward to being active again as soon as I can.

I thought I'd take the anniversary of my father-in-law's death better, it's on my mother's birthday. Actually, I took it better than I thought it would. (It was yesterday.)

So yesterday, I found out one of my students died in a car crash. Our school was like a family. I had students who weren't in my class to email and let me know because they knew how close we all are.

Please pray for his family.

All locations inside each circle start at the pathway starting directly by the door and going in clockwise rotation. Every captured person is shackled at hands and feet, can sit up, but no one can stand upright. There is enough space between the walkways and the chains length that no one will be able to reach out and trip Spade as he walks within the pathways. All within the cage are able to change their positions as long as they take into consideration the chains and limits.

**All placements within the cage are subject to change. Sometimes this will be at the inner whims of the psycho who has kidnapped everyone, sometimes because of plot shifts, and sometimes because of who is in what spot during different points in the current storyline. Please know that this is just a hopefully well developed rough draft!!**

When someone gets targeted by Spade it is to join his collection of people who will be used to further the artistic work he sees in his mind. This can be as few as 5 people or as many as 50+ depending on how big the work needs to be. Upon arrival on this strange island Spade's artist decided he needed to work and thus began the kidnappings that are taking so many of the island's loved ones. As of today he isn't quite yet finished with the gathering phase of the design work. He has decided on a mythology themed piece for some reason, and as he takes each person the theme has been reinforced.

Though rarely a part of his gathering events he does have a dog and he is fond of it. Oftentimes he will leave him guarding the collection, though the truth is that his movements are used to set off some devices Spade uses to issue sounds that mimic construction and surgery sounds, complete with random screams. This is to not let anyone know just when the adjustments he is going to be making will begin and to mask any sounds he doesn't want his captives to hear. The dog is not left there with the collection all the time. Some days the sound devices are left on a timer and Spade takes his dog with him. Also the dog is with Spade around 75% of the time Spade is in the area of the collection. *Dog is this man's best friend.*

Each time he takes someone he makes sure to carefully look around the areas the event(s) took place in and gather up any possessions they might have dropped, any they might have on them, and any parts of his capturing that might be left behind by a more careless person. There has been one sketchbook that was accidentally left behind, but it led to Spade gaining a new specimen upon his returning to the area to find it. He had noticed that the female had drawing items but nothing to draw onto when he did the searching of her. Each new acquire is searched for any sharp objects, cell phones, tracking devices, etc. Yes, this means that all wand type items are taken and put into the personal possession room!

He also takes all bras off. He does not do any touching beyond the search to any person he collects. Spade is not into rape or molestation! He is strictly a kidnapping and torture baddie! Belts are also taken, as are all ties. There have been times in his past that people in his collection haven't understood the "honor" he gives them to join it and they have tried to escape, damage him or themselves, and on one memorable occasion he had one try to kill the others in the design because they "knew the others wouldn't have wanted to live after such an evil thing was done to them!" Spade doesn't see his adjustments as evil. To him they are a beautiful thing, and the majority of the time they are not disruptive to the everyday look of the specimen. He takes pride in leaving minimal scarring visible to the eye once they are 'fixed' for the design, unless the design they are to match has scarring. In this instance he has yet to decide if Hephaestus or Vulcan will be used, and if so at what phase of scarring they would be at. The decision for this will be made later. If a kidnapped char is going to be used for ANY god that requires a major change to them there will be a discussion prior to ANY changes being made to them.

*This means that there will be no way to later claim you had no say in what happened and will mean you just didn't like how the look works now and you want to go back to the older one!*

After being fully searched and all items removed that might pose a danger to himself or the others in the collection each new person is moved into a large circular cage. It is open weaves of crosshatching bars, but not wide enough for more than a very small arm to reach out of. Reaching out isn't an option due to every specimen collected being shackled at both hands and feet into the place Spade chose for them to be located. One girl is placed in the direct center of the cage. She is placed like this so everyone can see how afraid she is and Spade is wanting that fear to infect all of them. There has been one couple who have been taken and they are chained together. Though they were placed with their arms wrapped around each other they have the ability to unwrap their arms and to sit up. There is not enough slack in the chains to allow anyone to stand up, not even a short person.

As the cage is filling up anyone who was placed away from others will have people put around them, but this placement is up to Spade. This means that others so placed by him might not have ever interacted before though this doesn't mean they have to talk to the others around them. There are walkways spaced inside the cage so that Spade will be able to put the newly collected into place, but no one will be able to use their chains to trip him, or to strangle him, due to the shortness of the chains and the placement of each person in relation to the walkways. This means those being the closest to it have been the last placements. As each person is placed closer to any walkway it is placing more definition to the area itself and there is almost a wheeled pattern that will emerge, but each "spoke" will be a walkway and there will be a cleared area between each "circle" to make it a concentric circle look also.

The collected people are fed at least once a day. Some days this is a drugged meal, some days it isn't. Water is given at random intervals in addition to the mealtimes. The issue of using the bathroom is not one that has been dealt with yet, but as he cannot release each person to let them have privacy and since the chains are so short that chars cannot stand upright it will mean that there is a small hole, about the width of a tea light candle, that is next to/under each person and they will have to 'aim' carefully for this hole, or clean up the area they will be laying back down on afterward. If there are privacy issues the chars will need to talk to their closest fellows and ask for them to help with that.

The noises being sounded by the devices do not preclude talking between the captives, but any conversations need to take it into account because there are random screams and loud banging going on, as well as other construction sounds. Also there are going to be times when there is a gas pumped into the cage area to keep the collection at least slightly dazed if not causing them to pass out entirely depending on how much Spade uses each time. This is to allow him to better control each person singly if they need to be taken out in a group for later arrangement in the "set" for the design, or if one is displaying aggression problems and needs to be reminded they are there for Spade's pleasure and not for themselves.

I am uncomfortable from past events in my life placing my contact info in here though I know you have to be signed in to gain access. Also know that as things progress I will be posting again about the locations used for the torture/adjustments and any other rooms they might find themselves in for more than a few seconds. I did not describe the searching room, or the possession room, because everyone has been completely out when they are in the searching room and it doesn't matter to any who need to know how many shelves and buckets there are in the possession one. Just know there is one and that everything is there. This includes jewelry, cell phones, wands (or odd sticks as Spade calls them), the bras, and any other items that were with your char when kidnapped. Nothing has been lost, and all can be returned to your char upon the completion of the storyline.*

So...I'm easily enabled. I bring you:

Roxas - Kingdom Hearts - key_of_desitny_ - Roxas is a Nobody, a being without a heart (er, soulless? It's confusing). He is also one of the few destined to wield what is known as a Keyblade, a sword that defeats his world's evil (Heartless, beings that devour hearts/souls/whatever they are). Created when his 'other', Sora was taken by the Heartless, Roxas became a member of a terrorist organization known as Organization XIII (yeah...not very creative there with names). After the events of Kingdom Hearts II, Roxas was re-absorbed into Sora and all was thought to be fine, until complications in Dream Drop Distance ripped them apart. Now, Roxas holds not only his own, fledgling heart (soul), but Ventus' as well, changing who he was...which makes him itchy. (...this makes sense, really!)

Doctor Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow - DC Comics - andintheendfear - Doctor Crane is an AU version of the oh so popular Bat-villain, Scarecrow. Still a creepy psychiatrist (yes, someone gave Crane a medical license, fear Gotham's judgement), with a fetish for fear, but this one spins off after Hugo Strange hypnotized him to believe he was two separate personalities. The false memories took too firm of hold and now he actually IS both Jonathan and Scarecrow (and Scarebeast, but we don't talk about him).

Cheshire E. Cat - Alice in Wonderland/American McGee's Alice/Kingdom Hearts - were_allmadhere - Once upon a time Cheshire was a cat...a normal, little tabby...then he fell into a hole. Then he got cursed. Now he's a sarcastic, slightly evil, chaos loving human/cat...thing trying to find his way home and back to his Alice. He would also like some damn tea.

Doctor Bruce Banner - Marvel Cinematic Universe - internal_rage - ...he's the Hulk.

Hi! Name is Saitaina (Sait for short) and I'm bringing in four new characters:

Effie "Enigma" Nashton - DC Comics - _enigma - She's a former teen hero turned serial killer cum thief. The daughter of one Edward Nashton (AKA The Riddler), she's a sadistic sociopath who likes to manipulate people into liking her. Unlike most serial killers, she doesn't have a compulsion to kill (her compulsion lies elsewhere), so she can go long stretches without killing, often getting by with simply fighting (which is how she can play either good or bad, depending on circumstance). there is a huge bio on her profile if you want more info!

Christopher Perry Halliwell - Charmed - second_blessed - For those familiar, this is Dark Future Chris from season six, for those not, Chris is a half-witch, half-elder guy who went back in time to save his brother from turning evil. He's sarcastic, nerotic and pessimistic...and under all of it, lost and lonely.

Adam Conant - The Secret Circle (Book-Verse) - hereditarywitch - Adam is a hereditary witch from New Salem, the male head of a twelve member coven. He's basically a nice guy...unless you try to harm what is his. His power is mostly water based, with power over the rain and tides (and any form of water in between).

Camron - Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - toprotecthim - She's a robot with a girl's face. Her existence is purely to protect John Connor. Harm him and she will kick your ass (unless John tells her not to).

I also have two other characters in the wings, Doctor Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow (DC Comics) and Cheshire E. Cat (AU!Alice in Wonderland and Kingdom Hearts).

I'm up for ANYTHING, drama, friendships, romances, whatever, whenever, just hit me up. I'm pretty open to almost all plotting.
