Caitlen watched d'Artagnan as he scanned the area and noticed the cave that he saw and she motioned that they should go seek cover in there. She didn't know how long they would be stuck there, but it had to be better than being beaten by wind and rain. This was one of those times she wished she had magical abilities because she could find a way to at least build them a fire. For the moment though she simply wanted to get out of the rain. "We should get in there." She said loud enough for him to hear.
As the two of them moved as best they could to the cave, every inch of her hurting, Caitlen couldn't help but find herself apologizing to him for the situation they were in. She wanted him to know that she didn't mean for any of it to happen. While part of the young woman's mind knew that he didn't blame her for any of it, she couldn't help but feel guilty because if she had listened to him they would have stayed home where it was dry and safer than a cave in the middle of the forest.
Finally in the cave Caitlen, despite the pain, pulled away from d'Artagnan and started to look around to see if there was anything they could use to try and start a fire. Having been camping many times with her dad before his death, Caitlen learned how to start a fire with friction using a bow drill. The only problem is they didn't have any string or dry tender to make the bow drill from, but she would find a way.
