Who: Nadya, Killa, Ksenia & Bryan Where: Korean Night Club - L.A. When: Friday night What: Nadya accepts an unexpected invite.
To say it had been a little bit of a surprise when Bryan had appeared in front of her in the hallways was an understatement. At least she knew his name now. that had taken a couple of interactions before she had actually gotten that. The petite brunette's focus had quickly shifted to Killa. She couldn't help the way she smiled at him. it honestly took her a moment to return her attention to Bryan even though he was clearly talking to her. He was telling her she should check something out (To be fair he had probably told her when she wasn't listening) before he handed her an advertisement. A show in LA? That was when it clicked. He was telling her she should come to see their show in LA. Nadya smiled and nodded. that would actually be really nice. She told them (Mainly Killa) that she needed to check her plans but she hoped to make it.
From there Nadya had promptly sought out Ksenia. The other skater was one of her best friends. The other young woman was also Nadya's unofficial chaperone on this American excursion. Clearly, she couldn't go to LA without Ksenia. Her best friend was sold the moment the word club had left the skater's lips and soon they were spending the next two hours fussing with an outfit choice. It seemed almost everything she pick Ksenia nixed. Eventually, Nadya had demanded she be given specific instructions regarding club wear. After that she returned in a sexy, very short and very low, nude nude dress with a dash of sparkle. At least that one had earned a nod of approval.
She found herself nervous on the trip to L.A. Going to this show was far beyond the flirty texts she and Killa sent each other. What if HE didn't actually want her to come as Bryan had implied. She was good at working through nerves though and eventually managed to push them aside. The worst that could happen was the whole thing would go disastrously and she and Ksenia would be able to laugh about it later. They came back a touch when they actually reached the club and the bouncer at the door eyed the two, very out of place, skaters with confusion. At least his confusion vanished as she greeted him with damn near perfect Korean.
"I think you gave me the wrong dress code," she told her friend after Nadya glanced around the club once they were inside. Their very Russian club wear was clearly not the same as Korean hip hop fashion. Well, at least none of the looks they were getting were actually bad. Besides Nadya found herself completely distracted as the music started and Killa was suddenly on stage.
