The walk to the apartment he shared with Bryan in LA wasn't a very long one and he didn't mind the companionable silence they had fallen into while they walked. He felt both comfortable and slightly on edge with Nadya, an electric under current that was new to him and both terrifying and exhilarating. And he was pretty sure most of the drugs had worn off and it was just her that made him feel this way. There was so much he wanted to talk about, to learn about her, things no one else knew, things the internet and fans didn't know, but he was quiet, as he normally was, his arm around her shoulder as they walked, her arm around his waist. This feeling, he really liked it, having her tucked up against him.
As they paused at the light he mentioned that there was only about a block left and looked down at her pretty face in the flashing lights of the city. A soft smile crossed his lips as she looked up at him and her hand slid to his cheek, turning him towards her lips before she captured his with her own sweet lips again. A soft sigh slipped from his lips as he leaned into her and kissed her back. This kiss might have been softer and more gentle, but didn't lack in that intensity between them. Killa kissed her deeply, using his arm hooked around the back of her neck to hold her close.
The kiss ended up making them have to wait for another light cycle, and Killa wasn't mad about it. He kept stealing little kisses and making her giggle against him, smiling against each other's lips as they kissed and laughed at each other. As the light flashed green at them, reflecting in her eyes, Killa kissed her again quickly and smiled, kissing the top of her hair before leading them across the street to the block the loft was on. Halfway down the block he turned down an artfully decorated and lit alley with graffiti, on it, the hint that this was home in the MKIT RAIN graffiti and Korean on the black painted brick walls of the alley.
Killa unlocked the metal cage door, and held it open for Nadya before punching in a code for the high tech security system. This was LA after all, even if it wasn't a bad part of town to be in. Holding that door open, he let her step inside before he locked the doors again and turned to lead her down a hallway to another door that opened into the main room of the loft. Tossing his keys on the counter he slipped his arm from around her shoulders and let her take in the crazy that was home for him. There was an amused tilt to his lips as he opened the fridge and leaned in to grab two craft beers and popped them open, crossing back to her, handing her one with a smirk.
"Would you like the grand tour?" he asked with a twinkle in his eye. At her nod, he led her through the loft, including his very messy and cluttered witchy bedroom which was so very obviously all him, with the various occult things, books, art and empty bottles of alcohol strewn about. He'd continued on, showing her the studio, the crash space and explained as they walked through the loft that he and Bryan had bought it for nothing, then turned it into a place their friends could always have to crash, to stay and create no matter what.
"Because we're family," he finished as he lead her up the stairs past Bryan's master suite, which he pointed out without going in, and continued up a metal spiral staircase to the rooftop. As they stepped out onto the roof, he grinned at her. "Bryan and I swore we'd have a place with a hot tub and bonfire and so we made it happen." Both boys came from money, and Bryan's family was more than happy to throw money at him to keep him out of their hair and out of the press. Killa's step father worked in real estate so he had helped them a great deal as well, in exchange for his agreeing to TRY the college thing.
"This is one of my favorite spots in the whole place," he admitted as he took another sip of the beer and squeezed her hand gently. "I like to get fucked up and look up at the stars."
