THE DUNWICH PILOT: DAY 3; morning/mid-morning-ish
Hey, so, all that theorizing about how anyone who talks about going out of town for supplies and then the disappearance notices happening and what is up with that thing? I might have a lead if anyone wants to bring supplies to do readings. Because we’re standing on the side of route 1A with the ‘Welcome to Hamilton’ sign in sight and it feels like my head is going to split open with how intense this spider-sense migraine is whenever I even think of taking one step more down the road towards that sign.

It’d probably good to get a double check on it. If whatever that’s setting mine off sets yours off too, we could go different routes. See just where everything lines up.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Give me a few to get over there. The buildings are a little too short to go faster.

I’d offer to swing back around and pick you up, but the bikes going to need a lot of repairs. But at least Tilly and I managed to get it out of the ditch, so yay!

Just the bike. Not even the worst dismount it’s had.

RIP, bike. Your sacrifice will be honored.

At least we're in a place where repairs shouldn't be too hard. I think I saw at least two mechanics around, so there'll be options.

But man, this whole 'thou shall not pass' feel is giving me the creeps.

Or pass and possibly go somewhere else? Or maybe it just cuts what amounts to the wifi signal to the network...

I feel like 'your wifi signal might be patchy' wouldn't set off this much 'do not go there' headbashing, but then we've been so few places with actually wifi that I don't know if my personal preferences would override that dangersense.

Not that that's actually ever happened, but...

I'm repeating to myself that ignoring it to walk past whatever danger line and find out is bad. Not a good or smart idea. Even if going home might be better for me than others.
