I've been at work in my auction house, and since we're probably due to leave soon, I thought I'd open my stores for anyone who wants to own a historical, multi-million dollar weapon or artifact.

I can't take it all with me.

Crafting and carving the figure is not. However, magical talent is a part of it imbuing it with a portion of your own sheut.

The sheut is for many things. It is the shadow one leaves on the world and can persist even after Ammit devours the ib.

So from spellwork perspective, yes, it is a way of infusing one's self in their work. It can also be a target for advanced necromancy if one wishes to secure a beyond final death. However, I suppose it mostly persists for Osiris, serving as something of a backup should he care and require.

Well, to punish Konshu, the members of the Ennead 9channeled through their avatars) did some mumbo jumbo spell and trapped Konshu into one of them. By the look of it, they'd done it to many other gods, because there was a whole damn wall full of them.

So yes, I suppose he was bound to something. Then there is a further ritual--supposedly--where one can actually destroy the Sheut once it is so bound.

I don't know if that would have worked with Khonshu, but say if your or my sheut were so bound, it could be so destroyed by a strong enough mage.

I mostly know that from stories told amongst higher tier members of my Order than I am initiate of.

That makes sense. Khonshu never really explained things to me until I needed to know. But I do know that once the sheut was broken, Khonshu was released, not killed.

I don't remember asking you this before, but if I did then sorry... which god do you serve?
