I don't think so - I mean, the illusion spell we're under should fade... especially since the person who cast it isn't here... and I still have my glyphs.

Hi Dr. Strange. Or is it Dr. Stephen? Are you a human magic user then or a different species? Do you have a magic bile sack like the witches on the boiling isles? Or do you use a staff or glyphs? Sorry, hi, I'm just curious. That's a lot of questions.

[...] You may address me however you feel most comfortable. I am a human who was trained. Hypothetically any human from my universe could learn magic, if they have the inclination and dedication. I have not heard of bile sacks before, so that's new. My universe does have magical relics such as staffs that augment and help a sorcerer, for example I have the Cloak of Levitation. I also am familiar with casting glyphs, but I wonder what the differences are between mine and yours.

I'm alright with the questions, I enjoy discussing the differences between magic styles, too.

Magic bile sacs are attached to the heart if I remember right from school - Hunter might know more as to how they work since he's read more of the boiling isles books than I have.

REALLY?!?! YOU USE GLYPHS TOO?!?! That's awesome! I haven't met another glyph user outside of the boiling isles, well, except Phillip- ~~Emperor~~ but he was evil and from the 1600s so that doesn't count.

Do you think we could do more than discuss? Like have a show and tell comparison or something?

I have the right to veto any nick-names. I grew up with the surname 'Strange' so that got me a lot of teasing, as you can imagine. I've just about heard it all, but still.

And the magic originates from the bile sac? Interesting. So it's a genealogical thing.

Sure, I'd be happy to. Right now I'm taking advantage of being in a world that isn't immediately hostile, so maybe... tomorrow morning? After breakfast?

~~What are they even teaching~~ All witches have.a magicbile sac. It's.a natural magic supply they.learn to use and controlthrough traing and it.means they don't need outside sources.to castspells. It's something.that developed, likely due to.the Titan's magic that seeps into.everything. Books about the Savage Ages talk.of even witches using and.needing glyphs to do spells.

Theyre oneof the groups of the Boiling Isles. There's witches,and demons. Demons are split.up into three types. ~~and then there's~~ Humans are only here because.of PORtals that link the.demonrealm and human realm.

training.wands that can be charged withMAGIC. Staffs. They.get their power from Palismans and you can.channel that magic if you know the spells. Potions. And then.artifical magic.

	Usually.it shouldstop when the witch drops the spell, unless it's contained in a magic object. Then it'd be IF SOmeone were to counter the spell.or remove the object. Alright, in that case I would say the style of magic that I was taught falls into the coven system. I was taught at a site called Kamar-Taj, essentially a school for sorcerers where we engaged in group practices as well as one-on-one training. Karmar-Taj teaches Eldrich Magic, which harnesses and manipulates the energies of the universe and other dimensions, and we are forbidden to use Dark Magic because of the negative consequences it has.

	I dont.know Eldrich or Dark.magic. All our.magic manipulates THE ENERGies of the universe, but.then our universe, theland, IS MAgic. The.titan gives us power. So, is Dark. magic controlling. shaodws? The night? (Reply to this) (Parent)
