D&D | Day 6
I'll never look at tabletop gaming the same again. Although I definitely didn't miss sitting around for five minutes while people tried to find the rules on how to grapple. Again.

	It's like if 3 chickens fused into one. Might be closer to dinosaur than turkey. Pretty sure it's linked to this world. I'm a Kenku. The whole race is cursed. 	No, no, I understand. The jokes and puns, it's wordplay that takes creativity. Or at least seeing a situation from more than one angle. Observations that you twist or connect to other things. Sylvie and I were going to go out to find what other good we could do around here before we leave. If we find anything, I'll just make sure to boss you around to make it easier on you.

But first, doing the whole ruins crawl, I found some things that could help with that not having wings thing of yours. I don't know if it's the same in your universe, but I know in mine, flying was just this whole big dream where webslinging is like the closest we get, so if you want, it can happen. Or I can see if I can save this for when you're more, well, you.

	Oh. I guess that makes some sense? Web slinging does feel like flying if you get high enough. Someone I used to take with me mostly screamed the whole time. Not for everyone, right? I think they help me find things. They're called Seeker's goggles. Idk maybe they're Hufflepuff gear. They're really good seekers? ...no idea. Might have to test the brooch. Yeah, get the right corridors and rhythm going. Doesn't feel exactly like this, which is cool and all, but it's also making me miss a good websling. But yeah, it's not for everyone. I've had a few people try and blow out my eardrum. But some get used to it too after that first 'this is what you actually do?!?!?' experience.

Are they gold and black? You might be onto something there.

I can help with testing. Not that my punches do much now, but I've got the magic covered.

I think they're real to some degree. If they weren't... someone would have felt something, right? But then we've dealt with some high powered heavy hitters too that could create something of this scale. Which would also just depend on what the point of the experiment is of which would make more sense.

I'll have to test it with a spell if he's up for it before trying something else.

My gut says it's real, but that also depends on if we're going on it being real because it exists or real in that it's what they think it is. It could exist, but just not how we think it is. But whatever it is, I'd rather help out than just assume it's fake and do nothing.

Still waiting on an answer. A version of him I know, it was always ~~our~~ his dream to fly. We'll see if that transfers.

	When I was at a college, I'd play some one offs here and there, but there wasn't nearly this much depth. Or maybe it just felt that way as most of the times I was handed a character sheet and rolled with it. (Reply to this) (Parent)
