Hello? Your paper plane is mine now, mystery thrower, so I hope it wasn't meant for someone else? I have a letter, a map, a sending stone that isn't much of a stone at all, and a very basic understanding of what in the hells is going on right now. So I've managed to go from world-ending catastrophe to, uh, pocket dimension-ending catastrophe? I suppose that leaves me with two real questions:

How bad is it on a scale from one to ancient dragons? And has anyone seen my sister? Looks like me, but with a braid. Likes to shoot things with arrows?

	Are you an adventurer like Percival then? I think they were in another sphere when they made a wish on a creature that grants wishes. They wanted to know what happened and if people knew we were missing. I THINK that's what they said. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I suppose we're that, sure. Adventurers are just mercenaries who get paid to do good instead of what's probably morally questionable, so that's a good enough way to describe us. I just realized we've been talking and have no idea who the other is. Percy's the one with the manners. I'm Vax, for what it's worth.

Knowledge is all well and good, but so is wishing to go home. But I'm new here and don't know anything, so I'm sure they did their best.

	My guardian Geralt is kind of like that. He's a monster hunter who gets paid for hunting monsters. Well, sometimes. Sometimes they stiff him because they don't like Witchers. I think they tried that. It didn't work. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	It does sound a bit like that. Only not getting paid isn't an option for us because my sister would absolutely lose her mind. Your Geralt needs to meet Vex'ahlia. He'll get paid. Of course it didn't. The easy stuff never works. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
