Premise

Imagine for a moment that you're safe and warm in your own bed. Perhaps you're dreaming of a long lost lover or the day that your ship comes in and you have all the fame and fortune you've ever wanted. Suddenly, the hairs on the back of your neck prickle and you get the sensation that something isn't right, something's changed. You open your eyes and, once they adjust to the dim lighting of the strange room, you realize that you're no longer in your safe, warm bed, but rather in a cold, stark, vaguely institutional-styled room.

Welcome to the Island.

No one knows how they got here or who abducted them, all they know is that they are trapped. They're free to move about the island as they wish, and the facility, which is the only structure on the island, has many modern conveniences, such as a gym, swimming pool, movie theater. Food is mysteriously brought to the residents at pre-designated times, although they never see the staff. In fact, the only people they see are other prisoners, some with powers, some without. The ones who have powers are unable to use said powers as a means for escape. Any person who has the ability to teleport or orb or something of the like would find themselves bouncing off an invisible shield around the island and would end up back in their room.

Everyone has a roommate and little does anyone realize that while they can't see the staff, the staff can see them twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. They're subjects in a controlled experiment, their actions being watched and recorded.

Trapped on an island, with no means of escaping, how long will it take before somebody cracks?
