Once all is said and done, it’s time for the grand finale. Nothing is more beautiful than the ball and the town goes all out on it every year. This year’s theme is the Mystery and Magic of the Enchanted Beasts of the Forbidden Forest.

The ball itself will be decorated to look like an enchanted forest and it is encouraged to theme your mask and dress (or dress robes) like a magical creature. Be creative, but remember this is a black tie event hosted by the most old-fashioned of pureblood witches and wizards.

The ball begins at 9pm.

"Masquerade! Grinning yellows, spinning reds. Masquerade! Take your fill - Let the spectacle astound you!"

Dean didn't liked to be shoved. In the past he would have punched Puck now but he refused. He wasn't going to hurt Puck when that was what Puck wanted. Instead, he grabbed Puck's hand and met his eyes.

"You're lying. I know you are. Stop this. Stop hurting yourself over wanting to be loved and let us be with you." Dean wrapped his arms around Puck, not kissing him, just holding him. He pressed his face to Puck's neck. "We want to make you happy, to be happy with you. Please don't throw this away."

Puck closed his eyes as her felt Dean wrap his arms around him and press his face to his neck. Puck's hands twitch wanting to grab Dean and kiss the damn fool but Puck wouldn't allow himself that. He couldn't.

"For fuck sakes!" Puck broke Dean's grip on him and pushed the other male away. "Am I not speaking English when I say I do not want to be with you? Or are you to fucking stupid to understand it? I. Do. Not. Want. To. Be. With. You. Got it? Now leave me the fuck alone." Making sure Dean wouldn't try and grab him again Puck moved to head inside needing to get away from Dean.

"No, I don't get it." Dean ran until he was standing in front of Puck. He pulled off his own mask and let it fall onto the ground next to him. If they were going to do this, it was going to be done so Puck could see all of Dean's face, to read how much he meant this.

"You may be used to others giving up on you, but not me. I see you, Puck. I see everything you are the good and the bad and I want that. Tina does, too. We like you for how you are and I know, deep down, that you feel the same way. You can call us names, you can shove us but I know that you hate hurting us and that you wouldn't ever take it to far. If you really want me to stop, then prove it. Hurt me."

Puck snorted because he heard the challenge in Dean's words and knew what he needed to do to get Dean and Tina off of his back. To make sure they saw the true Noah Puckerman.

"Fine," Puck said his voice deadly serious as he moved for Dean. He blew on the end of the lit cigarette, the end growing red, before he grabbed Dean's wrist. "You two think you see good in me but there is no good. Never was. Never will be." Puck kept eye contact with Dean as he held the other's arm while the hand with the smoke came down burning a small perfect circle into Dean's forearm. He only held the smoke there for a quick moment before pulling it away leaving a burnt red mark in Dean's skin.

Puck hated himself for doing it, for hurting Dean, but it had to be done to push Dean and Tina away. Puck knew what he was doing was unforgivable and it killed him inside.

Dean had to grit his teeth to keep from crying out as he was burned. It didn't stay very long, not even enough to hurt too bad, but enough for Puck's message. Except that Dean refused to give in. He held himself up straight and kept his eyes on Puck's.

"What hurts most, Puck? Trying to hurt me or trying so hard to be alone?" Dean shook his head. "I don't believe it. It has none of your spark. It's all an act. Even burning me, that's not the real you."

Tina had been standing away from the two men, letting Dean do the talking like he had suggested. She never stopped watching though. The different play of e,options on both of their faces tempted her to sneak closer, but she new Puck would hate being cornered by the both of them.

Then she saw the cigaret being pushed into Dean's arm and she coulent wait anymore and made her way towards them both. "Dean are you alrigt? Noah.....why did you do that?"

Puck tensed when Tina joined them feeling cornered by the two. Glaring he backed away from them both before flicking the smoke to the ground. Puck no longer had the urge to finish it.

"Because both of you think there is good in me when there isn't. You both are fucking delusional and really pathetic as neither of you seem to be able to take no as answer." Puck had enough of them both and was looking to leave. "You clearly had your hearts set on a positive outcome but there isn't going to be one. I don't want you. Now leave me the hell alone." Puck moved to go around them as they both were now standing in his way.

	Dean grabbed Puck's arm, making sure to use the hand Puck had burned. They had worked too damn hard for this and they were not going to let him go now. "Leave you alone? To do what? Tina watched this and kew it was the wrong idea. Puck was ready to run and dean was ready to argue til the end. Neither was going give the results that they wanted. So Tina was careful in stepping forward and gently moving Dean's hand off of Puck. She then motioned for him to move back as she stepped towards him and gave him the same gentle kiss that she had shared with him in the hospital.

"Noah.... Both of us care about you, and want you just the way you are, no better or worse. It needs to be your choice though... Please when you decide, we'll be waiting." She moved to hug him quickly and then let him go.

Puck didn't react to the kiss, allowing Tina to do as she pleased, because no matter the amputation Puck would not raise a hand to a female. He looked between her and Dean, listening to her words, before rolling his eyes with a snort.

"You are both idiots. Don't expect me any time soon." Giving them both another look Puck turned and headed back for the ball. He needed to get drunk and do something really stupid. Anything to get his mind off of Tina and Dean's offer and the pain that was in his chest.

Tina watched him leave and let out a soft sigh before moving to sit beside Dean and hug him. "We can't force him into it.... But I'm not giving up either. He thinks so little of himself tht he tries so hard to push us away. If we give in though, it'll just prove to him that he really is as bad as he thinks. We both know it's not gonna be simple... The three of us, and this is just one struggle to get over."
