Once all is said and done, it’s time for the grand finale. Nothing is more beautiful than the ball and the town goes all out on it every year. This year’s theme is the Mystery and Magic of the Enchanted Beasts of the Forbidden Forest.

The ball itself will be decorated to look like an enchanted forest and it is encouraged to theme your mask and dress (or dress robes) like a magical creature. Be creative, but remember this is a black tie event hosted by the most old-fashioned of pureblood witches and wizards.

The ball begins at 9pm.

"Masquerade! Grinning yellows, spinning reds. Masquerade! Take your fill - Let the spectacle astound you!"

Joanna sat in the courtyard, glad to be away from everyone. She was still wearing the dress Kurt had made for her and a black, feathered cat mask, but her white wings seemed to stand out. She stretched them and her arms. At least the whole pageant was just about over. While she was surprised she placed at all, she was still disappointed in herself. She felt that Kurt's dress would have won if worn on someone else.

Looking up at the sky, she let out a sigh and smiled. At least she had fun this Founders Week, she had to admit.

Liv had decided she needed a break from the festivities. She was rather enjoying herself, but she felt that she needed some fresh air. And the outer courtyard seemed the place to get some of this fresh air.

She stepped beside a dark haired girl, and offered the girl a small smile. "Evening." She smoothed out the front of her red dress, and adjusted the gold mask she had donned. "Enjoying yourself?"
